Challenge:
The Fringe Festival search experience was functional and provided utility but it needed personality. It lacked a moment that felt truly festival.
Context:
Festival-goers are browsing for their next event, feeling excited and energetic. The "Paint the Town PINK" theme was bold and tactile.
Solution:
We injected a bit of personality using a shake interaction that threw paint across the screen whilst browsing. On-brand, unexpected, and designed to match the spirit of the festival.
Result:
A fun in-app animation that turned a passive moment into a delightful brand touchpoint.
